This is Frannie, a beautiful Moluccan Cockatoo which was rescued from a horrible bird breeding farm in North Carolina in March 2007.  She is our poster bird for this month!  She had been caged up with a male who she was petrified of, expecting to breed whether they got along or not.  She is very happy here, and is in a free-flight aviary outside with other Moluccans.  She loves interacting with the others and they all get along great!
